An estranged husband and his girlfriend have been convicted of murdering his teacher wife and hiding her charred remains surrounded by air fresheners at a Staten Island storage facility, prosecutors announced Monday. Michael Cammarata, 44, and his girlfriend Ayisha Egea, 43, were charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and concealment of a human corpse, two counts of tampering with physical evidence, and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to NBC.
